Personal membership

Fill the registration form to become a member. Our board reviews new membership applications in monthly meetings.

  • The personal membership fee is 30 euros/year.
  • The membership fee for students or unemployed is 10 euros/year.
  • If your employer pays your membership fee, please give the company’s billing email address and contact person in the invoicing address field.
  • Membership for the rest of the year is free is you join in November or December.

Supporting membership

  • The supporting membership fee is 50 euros/year.
  • The supporting membership is for persons or corporate bodies who want to support the society, its cause, and its operation.
  • Supporting members have the right to attend the society’s meetings and the right to speak in them.

Corporate membership

If you wish to become a corporate member, please contact us directly at info@stvy.fi. Our board reviews new membership applications in monthly meetings.

  • The corporate membership fee is 30 euros/year.
  • The corporate membership is for Finnish companies or other corporate bodies that are active in the field of technical communication.
  • The representative of the corporate member is a person, who is named for the following year in the society’s annual fall meeting.
  • The corporate member has a vote in the society’s annual meeting. If the company’s representative is also a member of the society, they will represent the corporate member and cannot use their personal vote in the annual meeting.
  • If the corporate member has employees who are also personal members of the society, and the corporate member pays the employees’ membership fees, the corporate member gets a discount of one membership fee from the total sum per year.
